Driver Training

Aimed at all drivers covered by tachograph legislation, this half-day training course provides practical training on digital tachographs.

Course content

Using the digital tachograph; driver smart cards; company smart cards; tachograph operation; new mode switch requirements; manual entries; universal time co-ordination; print outs; mixed driving - analogue/digital; enforcement and penalties.

Training for the Manager

Aimed at fleet operators, this full days training course provides practical training, operational and the data handling aspects of digital tachographs.

Course content

EU Legislation and the company's legal responsibilities; using the digital tachograph; data handling including downloading, storage, analysis and the use of agency drivers or hired vehicles; plus hands-on experience using actual tachographs and on-screen simulator experience.

'Train the Trainer'

The 'Train the Trainer' two day course is designed to show you how to deliver digital tachograph training yourself. The course will provide all the necessary information, presentations and handouts required for your onward delivery of the training.

Course content

How to train; relevant legislation; digital tachograph instruments; digital tachograph cards; universal time co-ordination; data handling; fitters and maintenance of digital tachographs; training the driver and training the managers.
